GREAT WAY TO TOUR FAIRBANKS!
We were referred to Bill's Tours by Pike's Lodge in Fairbanks (which we also very much enjoyed) and were very pleased with his tours. Bill was punctual when he picked us up at our hotel and was totally flexible and accommodating with places to see during our tours. He was extremely knowledgeable and eager to please. We took a city tour in the afternoon, then a night tour to see the Northern Lights, which we DID GET TO SEE!!! And all from his nicely heated car with a bottle of wine! I would highly recommend Bill's Tours when you go to Fairbanks! - Ellen, San Diego
Very knowledgeable and professional. Bill had a vast knowledge of what we were interested in and the sites we were to see. - Square user
Bill is awesome and he added a great deal to our visit to the Fairbanks area.

Hi Bill - this is Fe & Ron. Thank you very much for the tour yesterday, that was fun. U R a very good tour guide, very informative, we learn a lot yesterday...thank you again. Have a great day.
Second and third trip I have taken with Bill. This time we visited the Arctic Circle and then to the McCarthy/Kennecott area. The drives were great and Bill always makes time to pull over for pictures. Everything was simply awesome! Highly recommend Bill

Good Morning Bill
Again thank you for the wonderful evening watching the lights on April 5th. We received the jump drive with your pictures a couple of days ago, they are magnificent thank you so much. We went on the snowcat trip at Chena Hot Springs on Sunday night and the lights were again brilliant.
Thank you again for making our trip a great time

I am from Michigan and visited Alaska by myself. On my first day I was expecting to sleep in but woke up early and didn't know what to do for the day (I had plans for all the other days). Unfortunately for me, most tours require at least two people. I called Bill's Shuttle and Charter Services on the spur of the moment, and Bill arranged a day trip (for as many hours as I wanted) with Ryland Canyon. Ryland asked what I wanted to do, what I wanted to see, and we were off! The price was very reasonable, even for an entire day!
I don't care much for shopping, or touring cities or even small towns, so Ryland suggested we go to Denali National Park. While most of it was closed (this was late October), the ride there was beautiful. We stopped at several scenic overlooks, and I got to take a ton of pictures.
Ryland knows this area very very well. He was extremely helpful in deciding where to go and what to see. He is knowledgeable about the area (the history, culture, nature, etc.) and on many, many other subjects. A very delightful conversationalist. We spent five or six hours driving around Alaska, seeing so many new sights, and Ryland was wonderfully informative and pleasant.
I highly recommend this company and also recommend Ryland as a tour guide.
Thank you, Ryland, for a wonderful, beautiful day!!!

It was a good trip to Chena Hot Springs. We enjoyed the ride and appreciated all the information!
Wish you a Merry Christmas
Ryland was our tour guide and he was very friendly and accommodating! He made the 10 hour+ ride to the Arctic Circle very enjoyable and he had a vast amount of information as well as experience that he was really open with sharing to us. He knew of all the nicest stops that could give us the best view of Alaska's snowy wonderland and he even helped us take many photos. We are really happy to have had him as our tour guide!

Hello to my two favorite Alaskan Bills …. Bill Cotter and Bill Williams! … and my favorite Virginia-to-Alaska transplant, Smoky Don Duncan!
Given what a great adventure you all helped me achieve last week for my son, Elijah — and because I would so very highly recommend each of you to future travelers — I wanted to put you in touch with each other as a referral source in the Fairbanks/Nenana area.
Bill Cotter is the gentleman with whom we stayed over the last two weeks in Nenana, the Yukon Quest champion and Iditarod perennial who trained my son and me in the art of sled dog racing. He offers dog sled rides, and longer training excursions, to tourists. He can be reached at http://www.billcotterkennel.com/, by email at email@example.com, or by phone at 907) 957-0935.
Bill Williams is the gentleman who came to my rescue when I needed a ride in Fairbanks; he shuttled us to our snowmobiling adventure, and also took us out on our last night in town in an effort to see the Northern Lights. He is an exceptional amateur photographer and a former member of the Iditarod board who offers Fairbanks tours, local Northern Lights viewing excursions, and on special occasions can be talked into an Arctic Circle trip. He can be reached at https://www.billstoursandcharters.com/, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at 907-460-5734
Don Duncan got us out on snowmobiles, introduced us to our first Alaskan moose, and still has my son talking about the seven bear attacks Don survived. In addition to snowmobiling adventures, Don runs/guides hunting and fishing trips and tells a great story. He can be reached at http://www.apgs.com/, by email at email@example.com, and by phone at 435-890-8328.
I found each of you gentlemen to be big-hearted, warm-spirited, good company, and consummately professional. I know from experience that is not true of all tour guides, and so I thought you might appreciate knowing whom to reach out to if your customers are looking for complimentary activities during their Alaskan sojourns.
Thank you, all, for making our trip so wonderful! I appreciate each of you!!
Grandpa Bill is a true Alaskan treasure - he treats you like family with such warm hospitality. Highly recommend the next time you are in Fairbanks, Alaska.
